Was the universe once comprised solely of 2 dimensions, or maybe even 1?

ex­tremely high en­er­gies and tem­pe­r­a­tures.
Such cond­i­tions char­ac­ter­ized the un­iverse just af­ter the
“Big Bang” that gave it birth. As the un­iverse cooled, in this view,
more spa­tial di­men­sions would have ap­peared one by one. “
